Taxol Treatment # 3

I have a praise report and a prayer request.

First and foremost, I want to thank Nancy Burnett for taking me to my Chemo Treatment. Because of the Benadryl that they give me, they won't let me leave without a driver. They really can't due to the fact my reactions are very slow due to the drugs. Nancy has offered many, many times to take me to my chemo treatments. What a servants heart this woman has.

Praise Report

They only had to give me half of the Benadryl yesterday. This was big for me. I really can't stand that drugged up feeling. With half the Benadryl I was still loopy or I guess more tired then completely drugged. I only had to sleep for a few hours after I got home from my chemo treatment. Today I feel pretty good.

Pray Request

My blood counts are pretty low. They said if they get any lower they won't be able to give me my chemo treatments until they come up some. I was pretty sick last week and I had stopped taking a product that I had been taking to keep my blood counts up. It is a product called Monavie. I guess in the back of my mind I really didn't think it was doing any good. After this little trial this week I think I'm going to go back to drinking my half a bottle a day and see if my blood counts raise. I really want to be done with Chemo by the end of October so if you could please pray that my counts go back up this week I would be very grateful.

My blood counts last week

WBC Normal range is 4.0-10.0 My count was 3.1
RBC Normal range is 4.2-5.4 My count was 3.52
PNM Normal range is 1.7-7.6 My count was 1.8
Platelet Normal range is 140-450 My count was 199

My blood counts this week

WBC 3.0
RBC 3.57
PNM 1.7
Platelet 270

It is Sunday eve and I just finished catching up on your posts. I wanted to let you know I am praying for you.

The sermon on Jesus being our Great High Priest was a great sermon today. What a comfort it is to know that we have Jesus who can sympathize with with us no matter how large or small the trial is that we are going through. I take great comfort in that truth and I know you do to. The strength of your faith shows in what you are writing. The confidence you have in your faith is so evident here Lori. Praise the Lord that we can approach His throne of grace and have the confidence that He is there always willing to help us and all we need to do is ask. What a loving God!

God bless you Lori,
Lynda R.

We are Praying for you, as you already know! It sure does make you wonder if the Monavie does work.
I know God is working the miracles in your life and of course He does use things, people, ect to Help Us.
We will continue to Pray and if you get a chance call me please. Not sure if you got your phone working or not! I LOVE YOU! I am so glad to hear they are not giving you as much benadryl!
Love MaMa

Hi Linda,

Thank you for being such a faithful prayer warrior.

When Pastor was finishing up his sermon yesterday right before he prayed. I couldn't help but to think about all the people in our church that are going through a much harder time than I am. Dick & Lois Rose, Russ & Victoria Babut, Dave & Connie Patton...The list just kept going in my head.

I woke up this morning and I felt normal again. I had energy! I know that the prayer are carrying up to our Great Lord and he is answering them.

You are such a blessing to me,

What a faith cyber friend you are. For some reason your blog site isn't showing up so I can pay you a visit.

Thank you for being such a great cyber friend.

I'm really sorry for worrying you last week. I'll try not to keep so much to myself when I'm not feeling well. At least you know me well. If you don't hear from me, just remember to say and extra prayer.

I really am doing a lot better this week. I even got a very nice compliment today from a friend at work. She came up to me all excited that I hadn't lost my hair. She is my sub for my first route. I haven't seen her in a while. She couldn't believe it when I told her I had a wig on. LOL!!! At times, I find it pretty funny. I get more compliments now on my hair than I ever did before.

Love Ya lots,
