I'm going to make It

I woke up at 4:00 a.m. feeling a lot better about everything today. I think I'm going to make it. I looked back on my post yesterday and had to laugh at myself. Ohhhh, I sure had myself a good pity party. Things could be so much worse for me then they are. The Doctor's could have told me I only have a year to live, or one of my children could be ill. My hair should really be the least of my worries right now.

My daughter really did do a good job with my wigs and my daughter-in-law picked out some very beautiful scarves for me to wear. My dear mother listened to all of my whining yesterday. the dash board of my truck only got hit about 100 times. LOL!!! My husband still loves me even with no hair. What more could I ask for?

God is so good to me!

Oh Sweet Baby , You are a girl and that is alright. It is so sad the struggle your in. Your whole family is in. It was good to here from you this morning and your encouragement was sweet.
My husband just came out to leave for work. We prayed for all of you together. Lori, May you find joy=strength as God holds you through this. Allow your heart it's needs. It is alright to weaken for a moment... you know, he needs you to let him be your strength... your joy.
I will continue to hold you upon every remembrance dear one.
Be embraced. Fondly.

Lori, this is the first time I've stopped by this blog. I am so encouraged by what you write on your Living for the Simple Things blog. But I'm so glad I stopped by today here. Sharing your journey with cancer is a great reminder that I never know what's going on in someone's life. You are being formed into the image of God's Son in all this...and it shows!!

Praise God for your transparency and honesty and boldness and love in the Lord.

May the glory of the Lord be to you as hair, more beautiful than your own!
